Do you know your metabolism?

Knowing how your metabolism works is essential to your training days, performance days, and recovery days.

FIT Conditioning's Exercise Metabolic Rate assessment (EMR) allows us to accurately gauge your training program.

It provides real values behind heart rate, and the O2/CO2 ratios, and gives us the amount of calories which you are expending during a specific heart rate/intensity.

Your results will show your VO2 and Anaerobic Threshold numbers upon completion of the EMR.

VO2 max
VO2 max (also maximal oxygen consumption, maximal oxygen uptake or aerobic capacity) is the maximum capacity of an individual's body to transport and utilize oxygen during sustained exercise, which reflects the physical fitness of the individual.

Anaerobic Threshold
When aerobic metabolism no longer supplies all the need for energy, energy is provided anaerobically; indicted by an increase in lactic acid. This number correlates to lactate threshold and is the point at which blood lactate levels start to raise above resting levels.

Exercise Metabolic Profile
What is an exercise metabolic profile? Think of it as your metabolic fingerprint: It's unique to you, and it holds all the info needed to create a highly successful, personal exercise training plan. Your exercise metabolic profile helps FIT Conditioning determine how long you should exercise and how intensely (probably not as hard as you think!).

Your entire profile (which contains Exercise Metabolic Rate and Resting Metabolic Rate assessment) provides insight into the nutritional choices that will improve your health, increase your overall fitness, and ultimately enhance your athletic performance.
