I can't believe how much better I feel training within the 134-144 range that you assessed for me. I ran way too hard in the Army for years. My morning runs or swims would just be a "gut check" trying to beat the other people around me. Now, I can absolutely resist the urge to over-train, recognizing the benefits of using the appropriate heart rate. When I hear the words “we need to look at your nutrition” all kinds of alarms go off in my head. I have only been with Jim for less than one month and he has really helped me tremendously with my cycling training and racing.
